Mooter - I received the same story, that Cal's filing was for personal reasons and does not reflect a change in Valence's fundamental outlook. This was relayed to me late today by FRB, the company's IR firm, after they spoke with DA.
Also agree that it may have been a big player's excuse to sell, but at 560,000 shares it was fortunately someone else's excuse to buy. Question is: are the MMs or another institution holding this inventory?
