bought a sea going.......... Years ago I knew a babe that long prattled about plans to circumnavigate. Eventually her and hubby bought a 38'(?) sailboat and lived aboard for a year in the Juneau harbor, just getting used to it. Quarters were tight. They had two sons, and if anyone went there for coffee the boys had to go topside. One spring they sailed up into the Gulf to hunt, fish, and can. Late fall they returned to winter in Juneau. Come spring they left for Seattle to top off, then leave on their journey around the world. They almost got out of sight of land off Cape Flattery in the Straight of Juan de Fuca, then turned around, came back, and got a divorce.
