Each CareBot will be individually programmed by the family and professionals according to the specific needs of the person it is designed to assist. Routine concerns about medications and a need to check in an elderly parent frequently can be the motivating factor behind the decision to move a senior out of a home they have lived in for decades. The CareBot will give family members peace of mind, knowing that their aging parent is secure in their own home and their safety is constantly monitored. If the senior is living with family members the CareBot relieves the caregiver of mundane concerns and lets them focus more on the personal needs of the entire family. The caregiver will have the freedom to take a walk around the block, go to the store or pick up the kids at school.
