Which begs the question, "Why would ANY conservative pander to LaRaza (Mestizos/Hispanics/Latinos/Mexicans/illegals), or Muslims, homos, Blacks, and felons?"
The very small percentages of Hispanics and Blacks who are real conservative are intelligent enough, successful enough, and wise enough not to require meaningless pandering, patronizing, and special attention. So, why do conservatives pander to their groups, when that is viewed as HIGHLY offensive and disrespectful to all conservatives, regardless of race/ethnicity?
When asked about illegals, conservative candidates should simply say, "Illegal immigration is against the law in the United States. Violators will be found and deported under the law."
If a leftist reporter interrupts and quips, "For clarification, are you saying you would uproot families that have lived in the United States for years," the conservative should look directly into the camera in an unflinching and unapologetic way and say, "Yes. That's exactly what I am saying." Conservatives should STOP apologizing for conservative positions and STOP soft-peddling our views! -ng-
Good Heavens! You don't tell illegals "Well, if you've been breaking our laws successfully for a number of years, we'll reward you by allowing you to stay," or, "We'll give you extra freebies and free college education in Texas for breaking the law -- freebies that American citizens do not have access to."
That's $hit is political suicide for the likes of Gingrich and Perry. What's wrong with these people? Why do they treat illegals better than Americans?!?!?! -ng- |
