Your statements are contradicted by al-Awakis own words in his wiki. I really don't understand why people want to defend this enemy of America and Americans, who set several people on murderous plots, some of which succeeded. He himself said he belonged to Al Qaeda. I doubt OBL was operationally involved much lately, but he certainly deserved to die. When someone is urging death for you and yours, and getting RESULTS, hiding in Yemen with other Al Qaeda members, KILL 'em if possible. Don't invade Yemen to capture him and put him on trial.
