I think the T-1 server has been "semi-announced" so to speak, at least that's what one would expect to be using in conjunction with AT&T's private line T-1.5 services.
A formal release may be meant to coincide with something else, or perhaps they're just saving it for a rainy day?

This compatibility will give our users and potential customers confidence that Be There! will meet and exceed their high expectation for performance."
Managed by AT&T's Developmental Relations Group and conducted at AT&T Laboratory's regional test center in San Francisco, the tested compatible designation is given only to those products that meet AT&T's standards for compliance and compatibility.
The Be There! system enables users to work at home or on the road while functioning as if they were in the office. It is the only product on the market that offers transparent connectivity to all corporate communications simultaneously over an ordinary telephone line. Through a PC or a laptop connection, users have access to all corporate telephone functions including voice communications, call forwarding, call transfer, speed dial, and voice mail. All calls ring through the corporate switchboard to the user's computer. Users also have access to all corporate local area networks, intranets, the Internet, e-mail and fax.
