I agree with 99.999% of what you posted, my friend. The only aspect I respectfully disagree with is the suggestion that Gingrich would be "as bad" as Obama. I don't think any candidate would be as bad as Obama.

As much as I disagree with Gingrich's position on immigration and the other issues that are important to conservatives, he is not as bad as Obama. Obama represents the very worst of all possible outcomes, in my honest opinion.

I lament the fact that actual conservatives such as Bachmann (and others who dare not even attempt to run) are completely ruled out and ignored by the mainstream media, which has openly boasted about silencing her/them. Real conservatives do not stand a chance in the USA anymore. It seems that the only candidates who are electable are RINOs, which is a disgrace. -ng-

Of course, if a candidate is not affiliated with the Democratic or Republican parties, he/she need not apply, which is appalling. -ng-

In 2012, I think one of the Republican candidates, or perhaps Donald Trump, will run as an independent in the general election as an alternative to Gingrich (or Romney). If that happens, he would probably siphon off enough votes from the Republican nominee to sweep Obama in for another four years. I hope I'm wrong.

We are living in a nightmare and a disaster. -ng-
