Animal apartheid must end!!!

I decided the animals need to become more familiar with each other so the dog stops viewing the cat as prey.

I have them in separate training crates, about 3' from each other. I figure a few days of being in proximity to each other might get Stella into the mind-set that the cat could be a friend.

On the other hand, she might be thinking, "just you wait, cat, until that dumb Smithee cuts me loose when you're within striking distance..."
