RPC: Adding to my small position in oil service company RES Inc., as stock falls. Most of the company's efforts are in pressure pumping in shale areas (apparently both for gas and oil).
Low p/e, high roe. Could be cyclical, although ceo says business is changing with customers wanting more long-term relationships. D/e about .2. About a 2% dividend yield. Some value investors are in this one : per Yahoo: Gabelli, Royce, EQ Advisors ("safe and cheap"?).

Catalyst might be age of controlling insiders. Mr. R.R Rollins, chairman, is 80 and owns about 64M sh. His son, Gary, ceo, age 67, is in for about 65M. Maybe they'll want to sell the company. Although who knows? - The board just keeps chugging along (one director being 92, for example).
