No, I get tired and frustrated when people continually believe that we can spend our way to prosperity. Life simply doesn't work that way. It's just fantasy land. I guess Americans are so impressed by all these shows on TV where all these pretty young people never work and have millions of dollars that the average American has come to believe they can have that too and that all they have to do is support the Democratic Keynesians to get it.

That kind of thinking will always end in tears. I'm of the old school belief where you have to work and save your way to prosperity. There are no shortcuts that are sustainable. The sooner we all come to that conclusion and set about working hard to fix this economy the better. The longer we play around in fantasy land spending money we don't have to bail out banks that should be shut down, the worse the reckoning will be when it comes.
