Ive said for over a year now - embarrassingly that when M&A hits the semis it marks the bottom. Much like when KLA bought Ten Cor back in 1998. Think about it Varian is gone and now Novellus. Consolidation of the best. That' why Hill took on debt to buy back stock -wring out the shorts and get full value. Nice move from an exec that is top shelf. Bob
