You make a valid point and I agree on the importance of looking ahead to be sure of your sources of development financing. However, historically it was ever thus: finance has not been hard to come by only when stock prices are low, and stock price are not low because of the difficulty of financing. (For my gold stock, I believe its development expense will be financed by growing production revenue).

It is surprising to me how low the price of gold stocks have become........ they used to trade at a premium to Net Asset Values, now junior producers trade at a mere fraction of NAV. Looking at my historical notes, in 2002 CIBC world markets said:

"........ the market will push share prices either above or below "fair value" depending on sentiment at the time. Such occurrences are not unique to the gold industry as we see all sectors moving into periods of over or undervaluation....."

Market sentiment suggests to me that this is not a good time to sell !
