MF Global I found extremely unsettling. Segregated accounts...that's as sacred as your best friends sister.

I took 25% of the funds out of my non reg account a few weeks back and got it in those new plastic $100 notes...after getting some sideways looks from the banking staff... It probably seems paranoid to some but it makes me feel better as I carried 95% of my liquid cash in my trading account. An MF Global situation with the company I deal with and I'd be hooped.
