Gold, Silver, Likely To Consolidate For Several Months, Silver Worth Buying Sub-$30/Oz – Morgan

(Kitco News) -After this week’s severe price break in gold, silver and other markets, the precious metals may consolidated at lower levels for several months, says David Morgan, a well-known independent silver investor. He says gold’s move from $1,500 to over $1,900 an ounce this fall was not unlike silver’s move from $26 to near $50 an ounce this spring. “Granted it wasn’t as parabolic as silver, but gold moved higher rapidly,” Morgan says. Morgan correctly called the top of the silver market this spring. So far silver and gold are holding above the September lows of about $26 and $1,531, respectively. Morgan considers silver worth buying if prices are under $30 for investors with a two to three year time horizon. March Comex silver settled at $29.274 an ounce.
