I ask about Abraham because learned theologians have stated that he was a eponym of the jews and arabs...a figure without historical proofs. As far as circumcision is concerned, rightly or not, it was a practice based on hygiene rather than a covenant with G d. But I am listening. Thanks for your ideas...
