Paul's economic thinkings seems to be very sound. He seems to be the only candidate who has fully abandoned Keynesian fallacies. But - explaining the global Jihadist movement in terms of blowback is by no means sensible. Someone needs to explain to Mr. Paul that people do things not solely as a reaction to someone else, but often for reasons of their own. They may invoke various hurts as an excuse, but true reasons for their actions may be different.

During last debate Paul questioned Iran's intention to get nukes. He will question it until bombs start going off - and after that, he'll explain things away, and do nothing. After a direct attack he'll react, but... even then I don't trust him to react rationally.
