It was a wicked combo and will probably never be repeated. The tax selling was already going on and then we got the gold whack which just fed the selling.
IMO we will never see these prices on quality juniors again (for at least 5 years)
Take a look at stocks like AR and SVL..not much of a reaction here. If you are growing and are outslide the tax loss zone and do not have large hedge fund ownsership all is good.
Grassroots stories will be dead for a couple of more years IMO. Sell the bounce and move to development stories is the key theme.
Market is getting pretty smart in some ways. Finding gold in the middle of the nowhere, making it economic, and trusting that management doesn't try and screw shareholders is quite the stretch in any environment. Throw in this current market and forgetaboutit...
I would not want to own anything that did not answer yes or maybe to one of the 2 following questions:

Will it produce in the next 2 years?
Will it be bought it the next year?
The rest is all musical chairs and the DJ is high on crack
