What you posted (and what I replied to!) was this:

I assume that when you are specifically referring to the GULF in this context, what you mean is the Gulf of Mexico.

Now if you had a clue what has actually gone on in the world, (and could remember what you yourself posted), you would realize that the drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico that was put in place after the BP blow-out was REMOVED.

First they removed it for the shallow water areas.

Next (this year) it was removed for deep water drilling.

And we have ALREADY successfully conducted a new round of federal lease sales for deep Gulf waters.

So... what you posted (as my reply noted) has been incorrect for months already....
