Must be a sign for on Amazon Chris Hitchen's book God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything , when one takes the percent of the 4&5 star reviews it comes up to equal 66.6% , or if you add the 3star reviews all , it comes out to about 80% favorable with almost all universally in agreement there is much food for thought here .

Except when you get down to the 1-2 star reviews where the selective "cut & paste" artists that try to weigh in with the usual feeble apologetics & their precious 'dignations so disturbed (like the mentally disturbed duo we have cutting & pasting here ) . If Hitchens was so far off in his citings and scholarship , have yet to see one instance since its publication of any effective rebuttal having been highly publicized from any corner ? From Heartland Boobie Bible Belt to Vatican to Badhdad?

Says alot about a lifetime of witnessing such "real events" than the rosey fingered dawn of pretense & scripture that rarely shows itself in the true light of the natural world of human events unfolding . Notice the silence out there , as if the believers would really rather not disturb this one mans bones or condemn him , lest they risk rising more keen interest in his life words & works than there already has been . And even the many ones he debated walked away with admiration & respect ... nature abhors a vaccuum , have a feeling there will be another Christopher Hitchens ,lets hope.

*If it hadn't been for Harry Potter back in 2007 the first two weeks it would have been #1 on its best
seller list, which of course is saying just how well the book did and still does .
en.wikipedia.org

The book was published on May 1, 2007, and within a week had reached No. 2 on the Amazon.com bestsellers list [36] (behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), and reached No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list in its third week. [37]
