you missed the starting point, Slacker claimed that they were out there and that QCOM had a share.


Slacker pointed out the AT&T handsets all use Qualcomm LTE chips; my impression was they sucked equally as badly as the Verizon handsets in terms of battery life; hard to be worse.

This sounds wonderful. I had a WIMAX handset that took 40 seconds or so to acquire 4G whenever I decided to turn it on, and I always ended up regretting that decision. Switching from 3G to WiFi, OTOH, is 5-10 seconds tops.
