"Chares Krauthammer had a great idea. Take the senate bill as written and make one change. Move the expiration date from Feb 2012 to 31 Dec 2012. Pass it and kick it back to Reid. " I'm sure that if they did that the Senate would be called back into town and then pass that with the same overwhelming vote that they had the first time.... (I believe the House would pass it also... which is why the Majority Leader there has refused to allow a vote on either the 'temporary' two month extension bill, or on the same bill with a one year extension. He knows it would pass.)
