Craig...the best networking stock I have found is MRVC (MRV Communications) Why? CSCO sells at a premium to the rest of the networking stocks (and deserves it) They are the bellweather of networking companies.....COMS has NIC exposure and questionable product mix at this time.....ASND....from what I have heard, employee morale has taken a beating due to the stock price crash....Just about every employee has some options that are worthless now..... Why MRVC? INTC purchased 200,000 shares last year at $20 when the stock was at $18. They have warrants for up to 500,000 more shares.....INTC is an OEM of MRVC 10/100 switches....more NIC's sold, more switches sold... The company won't produce commodity products....they focus on bang per buck for networking industry.....THEY ARE WORKING ON WDM products....The firm was initially a fiber-optic component company....I believe that their expertise is great....They are a bunch of Israeli technical nerds.....I'll back that any day!!! Look at their results....they speak for themselves...... By the way.....INTC didn't exercise their options at $38...... Take it easy Dan Ross
