Frank,

Been there, done that. Actually this is getting to be a more common problem now that user's Temp Internet files are filling up HD space. See this link for MS recommened way out of the morass.

premium.microsoft.com

I have been through it twice. The first time, I was following some advice in a popular PC magazine which suggested that all temp folders be routinely found using the search feature and manually deleted. Turns out that these files can only be deleted through right clicking the MD IE icon and using the delete feature.

Now I am trying MS IE v4 hoping it doesn't have the same problem. Am finding, however, that it has other problems. ;-)
