i think they are wise, because i believe events shall go dark, quite dark, until utter collapse, and such is best to be avoided if at all possible

i believe keeping one's funding and resources in at least 2 locations is just a good idea, and be ready to physically relocate is also a good idea

the politicians of yester-year were no dumber than those of today, and in many ways were more educated and better learned than those of today, and yet yester-years did happen.

i believe the events happened because they must happen, and so they have a good chance of happening again, else history stops.

i am in favor of readying to park one's physical being in thailand, and one's resources in hong kong, unless one is from hong kong, in which case ready to park one's resources in switzerland, even as some swiss are making the investment to come to hk. switzerland is economically free only if one is not swiss. switzerland is an island on land, but not for the swiss.

speaking of islands, i shall de-camp hk late on christmas day and engage in respite on my favorite island, to gather with partners and friends, and get a change of view, else suffer from island fever even though it sometimes is difficult to remember that hk is also an island in so many ways. i shall be back in hk in time for new year's this and that, mostly eating and conversing.

we shall return to koh samui in late january for chinese new year (of the dragon) holiday. i like islands.
