I did not had the time to dig into the ramification and as such presently I do not know. To me it is very surprising the huge difference and it must be researched further. In any case even if the numbers are not completely accurate the difference in output of manufacturing cars is astonishing IMHO, given the size of the US economy as compared to the size of the German economy. From my travels, one is given E. Europe and Central Asia are predominantly German cars markets remappingdebate.org
