Mark - MMR is unique in my strategy - I am long the shares without covering - waiting for DJ to test. I do have an old Jan MMR 11/10 BPS that I expect to expire.

As for EXXI I have an old short put position that is a Jan 30 NP position that I will either roll or let expire.

With MMR it is important to realize that a really big move is very likely within the next month - either up or down. EXXI is a far more diversified company and a member of Dan's Sweet 16. Another way to play it is via PXP and also TSIDZ. Incidentally, I will take TISDZ as my pick for the contest. I urge everyone to look at EXXI.

Frankly, I am hopeful for a huge capital gain in MMR and not simply my 2 - 3 % strategy. The biggest problem I see is that they are about to prove up a gizzillion cubic feet of something that is becoming almost worthless. A huge discovery will also add to the surplus as it is going on production almost immediately.

Some of the smarter option guys may be able to explain a strategy where one buys the call and put and simply waits for the move. CC may know that one - it is too much life roulette for me.
