MU went from 20 1/2 to 24 1/2 in last 7 trading days. a 20% gain in 7 days is not too shabby. How much did the general market go up in those seven days? Well, the New York Composite went up 3.6% over that same 7 days. Check it out. Analysts have lowered estimates to 0.04/share. Why does an analyst lower an estimate just before an earnings announcement? So, the company can have a positive surprise. This earnings announcement will be a positive surprise ... that is my guess. Institutions (friends of those analyst) have probably been loading up on the stock. MU moved ahead of the general market -- that is often positive. Little guys are selling, big guys are buying. Shorters -- Have fun!
