2nd to last paragraph gives hope to the eventual go ahead . She interned with Gaia Amazonas . " Gaia Amazonas is working with civil society, govt and industry to create a roundtable to agree upon industry standards and monitors for extraction in the Amazon . The most research intensive part of my internship was focused on producing a report on impact benefit agreements between extraction companies and indigenous communities which will support the up coming multi-stakeholder discussions " . They are looking to other nations especially Canada for ideas that work for everyone's best interests . It is not Ecuador or Venezuela . Not going to be real easy either but does look doable .
