C'mon, what are you saying.... A 100 years ago there was no NATO. I had in mind, of course, the 1999 bombing. Still fresh. About tradable citizenship.... I promise to give it more thought. So far, I see it primarily as an idea under which I would have to pay large sums of money for the privilege of paying a lot of money in taxes to some government. I still like better the opposite concept -- let the government work hard and do a good job and show that they can run a good, well organized jurisdiction -- and I may decide to move there, and pay them taxes... for as long as I feel that I'm getting my money's worth. This way no one owns me, and the government is under pressure to earn their salaries.
