This Christmas has just been declared the most successful of all time.

Everything was going beautifully, lots of great gifts, lots of great food, but something was missing......

Most of the McKie family traditions have been lost or abandoned. But one still remains....The White Elephant gift event. Everyone puts in one give worth $25 or less.....and then through a variety of loose rules, the chaos begins. In the McKie family this was always a hilarious backstabbing event where presents are stolen and re-stolen until the clock runs out and you either end up with the perfect gift or perhaps the not so perfect gift.

My SIL put in a beautiful Cat Fan that very predictably, Smoothsail scooped right up. And because we have a 2 re-steal rule, I stole it from my mom and killed anymore steals. Well, my Mother in law wanted that fan. So she stole it from me, but the cat fan was killed from future steals, so she had to give it back. She was not happy at all. In fact, she threw a hissy fit. Which had me and my brother in law in hysterics. Finally the holiday was complete. Another successful holiday!!!
