Steve it is much more than stuff he wrote 20 years ago. There are his votes against the 1964 civil righs act, MLK holiday and a medal for Rosa Parks. Not exactly a big thinker. And even recently he and his son talked about how they had objections to the 64 civil rights act that had to do with the "whites only policies" they felt should be legal.

And I could go on and on.
