tonto, We are employed by companies to lead and protect them. There are many reasons to stay in the US if the business climate improves. Policy has been to lose companies to better offers from competing countries. Labor is just one part. Some locations may be less expensive but offer poorly skilled labor, other countries offer lower taxes, if the US improves their offer, companies will make intelligent decisions and incorporate in the US or expand

What blue smoke have you been smoking!!! Corporations are to make the product which the consumer will purchase at a competitive price and one which maximizes the profits of the stockholders.

Naturally, a CEO can not intimidate the employees for long or the quality of the product and morale will drop or the employee will seek employment elsewhere in todays world. John Chambers, CEO, CSCO expressed such a statement: the role of the CEO and company is to maximize the profits for the stockholders during an interview on CNBC.
