I wasn't aware there was a race. You brought up Ayn Rand, I asked you your opinions, and I asked you to support your opinions with evidence. In fairness, you posted some disturbing rants against her to balance some of the nice things I posted from those who knew her. But I mentioned at the beginning that it is well known that thousands of people hate her and have even prayed for her to be tormented forever in Hell--so the existence of detractors decades after her death coming after those she faced down while living is almost anti-climactic, don't you think??

Thanks for sharing your rage against her. It balanced out my defense and I can hardly claim to have "won" anything. Perhaps, if there was any difference it was perchance that I tried to be kind to a great human who changed human beings and certainly human history. You see, it is easy for me to be fairly even tempered with Ayn. She never ever attacked me. Not once in any of her books. But she had no mercy on those she despised so I can well comprehend their hate.

Nor do I claim to necessarily agree with her philosophy without reservation or question. But those whom hate her have no real interest in any honest opinion on specific points of her philosophy so there is no reward for me to parse those points. I only need to be kind to a dead woman who will invite savage hate for decades and perhaps centuries after small people like Koan and Solon have returned to the seas.
