Kaiser Permanente Selects Pegasystems to Provide Patient
Care Management Solutions; Pegasystems Signs Kaiser
Permanente as First Health Care Customer

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Pegasystems Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGA - news) announced
today an agreement to provide solutions to Kaiser Permanente (KP), the nation's largest
nonprofit health plan. Pegasystems' Customer Relationship Management applications will help
Kaiser Permanente deliver more efficient levels of service to its more than 8.8 million members
nationwide.

Trefler, Pegasystems' President and CEO. ''Pegasystems' solutions will allow Kaiser Permanente
