<<When someone else is paying for something that is both important and expensive, most people want those payments to continue. People love a "free lunch".>>

Exactly, they love a free lunch, and that is exactly what they had with good jobs that paid their health care premiums through to age 65 which is in my estimation the majority of Americans on this thread.

The only one that i can think of posting their premiums was I node a few years back, around 15 grand a year and i seem to recall, "some complaining" at that time. The posts are there for the record.

Can you imagine what I node's health care premiums would be at age 85 ,,, without medicare?? Could he afford them ?? could anyone in the 99 percent?I think not.

Roadwalker also complained because of being self employed at the time and moving between states and having to change health care providers i believe Road Walker was self employed.

Retirement, after a working life should be enjoyed, if possible, and stress free, putting the rising premiums and health care ""claim denied stamps" behind them...but as usual who's paying??

All the present payers are obviously not paying enough .. that is why i think a graduated medicare tax on the estates of the dead to top up the fund (canada too)...most dead wouldn't mind and the heirs would get a little less...tough... and lol..Mr Buffet and Micro Bill's heirs are getting a lot less...blame them for being trend setters.

Well, is Bush the senior, Mr Carter, Mr Clinton and Bush the junior..using their visa to pay for looking after their aging bodies...in the good old spirit of American capitalism, put fourth, by the admiral of the fleet the jelly bean man...i hope so...if not, hit em when they care less...Harper and me too.
