re: the XL pipeline.. Imo, the only damn way to slow down our societies dependence on fossil fuels is if, me, you, and everyone behind the tree would be willing to CUT BACK on our wasteful energy consumption..
And therefore more environmental degradation..
It depends on us, every damn ONE of us..
Every damn moment of our time..
Do we want to save something?
Think, everytime just f'ng think, is this trip is necessary?,, Does this switch need to be turned on?.. Is our thermostat set low enough to need to put on a sweat shirt? Does our AC have to be set so low in the summer time.? Take off some clothes then if you are too hot.. it's fun and one might find and enjoy the freedom..:)
Try it, I say..
Do we need this big of house for just two or a few, young and old farts to rattle around in, to heat and AC and to try and impress people.??
NO, I say, a thousand times over..
And take away from our mother Earth and her far less wealthy which are JUST AS GOOD and worthy and pure as those living largely and selfishly
..
Will it bring us happiness or fulfillment on judgement day ?
Or just guilt when one sees the light...
