Greg: The local carrier, Southwestern Bell, does not have TWT/Total World Telecom listed because TWT "bypasses" SWB by going thru Teleport, a local service provider. TWT saves a bundle doing this on the 100 or so local lines going into/out of the offices at 1001 Fannin, 3rd floor (They have the entire floor, 25,000 sq ft), Houston, Texas 77002, Phone: 713-308-1000 (or 800-569-2280), fax 713-308-1050.
When you bypass Bell, you have to request them to "list" you in their computerized Information data base. This has been done. Since TWT has been only a "wholesaler" of LD 'til now, this hasn't been a big deal. As part of a public company, it is a big deal and the listing is imminent (sp?), in fact, should be there by Monday!
