OK, I was a little off on the actual day rate -- 231,963 vs 235,185... I simply divided the $127 million by the number of days in 18 months and figured I'd be close enough -- $3,000 per day is noise level when talking about rig operations... that can be "spent" simply by not turning to the right for 20 mins. (or not tripping out of the hole, i.e., when they pull the drill string out and change bottom hole tools/assemblies or run casing, etc.)... the biggest wasted cost in E&P is when the clock is ticking on the day rate, but nothing meaningful is happening to actually make or complete the hole.

Best,
Jim
