Prior lows in precious metals in the last decade... seem they've been paired with a slow down, or something close to a complete halt in the activities of the juniors, in particular. I've noted, recently, that the pace in acquisitions of explorers by miners has been accelerating... and the pace in exploration hasn't slowed down a whit in reaction to the declines in metals prices. Investors might be spooked by the market... but, the guys who run the companies don't seem to be phased by it in the least... and, if anything, there is a greater sense of urgency apparent. I think 2012 is going to be a SPECTACULAR year for junior miners... I think a couple of Shining Tree players are going to participate early... if quietly...
