That's pretty funny considering 90% of my fellow Jews are a broad spectrum of liberals AND MODERATES who detest the obedience, xenophobia, and anti-science of the current conservative movement.

The premise is uber stupid twisting of statistics. Hard right republicans are seriously worried about the loss of Christian White Culture (code for racism, homophobia and xenophobia on right wing talk radio and FoxNews, they "want THEIR America back.") The reason this extremist fringe went from anti- semites to praising jews is because it fits into their Christian "scriptures" end-of-the-world story. After which any Jew who does not accept Jesus as their savior gets to roast-in-hell. With "friends" like that....

Their Right wing meme smearing Jews in Hollywood as jew-commies is hardly hidden by the old John Birchers combined with the racists who left the Democrats after the civil rights act passed and the Southern Strategy took off. Jews are not fooled, no more than African Americans are fooled by the claims that martin Luther King would be a Republican because of the welfare state and affirmative action.

There is a time when the spin becomes so odious, it needs to be disinfected with sunlight. The idea that liberals are the threat to Jews is one of those moments.

Perhaps liberals might be a threat to some orthodox right wing Jews, (not physical but idealogical) however almost all modern educated Jews are not living by the 14th century rules and religious laws.
