Sankar, I know you are bullish on BA. For some reason I can't help but think that Boeing might have missed the biggest profit making opprtunity of the decade and they may have to wait another 5 years or so for the next boom. Confirming my earlier thoughts (aired on this thread), today's WSJ featured an article about the slowdown in air traffic for the Asian airline and the order/option cancellations from certain airlines. (I have puts on BA.)
After seeing your note form last weekend I am thinking of closing my puts. Are you still bullish on BA?
BTW, thanks for your detailed analysis of Japan's situation. We (those of us on this thread) are beginning get a better picture of the financial world. I am almost convinced that your vision (of Japan selling US bonds and the subsequent possibility of Feds raising rates) will bear fruit sooner or later.
