Perhaps, but out elected pols haven't settled on a bi-partisan economic theory, and the right wing seems to believe in the borrow and spend free lunch of Reaganomics. You know, as the Dickster put it, "Deficits don't matter! Reagan proved that." --from Paul O'Neill's book.

The Tea Party faction seems to have found the cut spending religion, right when we're in a recession and that's the LAST thing we should do!
