Sandridge Missippippian SDT and Sandridge Perminia Royalty Trusts PER are making new all time highs.
SDT pays 11% dividend and PER pays a 15% dividend. Best of both world 11 -15% dividends plus price appreciation. Sounds too good to be true, since I haven't had time to research Sandridge's royalty trust structure. Prior to forming the second trust Permian, when SD raised $500 MM I looked at Sandridge in Q2 but passed due to high debt, but in Q1 2012 the market seems to be saying Sandridge trusts are good investments. In Q4 2011 SD common shares under preformed the trusts, as the trusts made ATH.

Anybody have own these Sandridge Trusts or have any insights into their valuation with share prices at all time highs.

Sandridge Trusts excerpt from November press posted here on BDBBR.

While 2011 might be remembered as the year where SandRidge successfully sold assets and packaged the Mississippian Trust I and Permian Basin Royalty Trust (
PBT), 2012 will be the year that investors learn that SandRidge is no longer handcuffed to the capital markets to fund capex – no more dilutive equity, unfavorable debt terms, mispricing of asset sales or Trusts to worry about.

PS> Best Wishes to everyone for the New Year - for whatever it is you wish for.

Cheers!
