Discussion of silver seems it isn't topical re Shining Tree ?

It isn't... given only the element in focus on production, and on silver vs. gold, etc.

But, the MARKET function is exactly on topic...

Not only does price suppression keep silver prices from rising, it disrupts other market functions...

Among those... is that the "wedge" in supply that is fictional, or "hypothecated", by meeting real demand with fictional supply, tends to displace real demand in physical terms, which means that without the fictionalization, that demand would otherwise be employing miners and driving mining stocks higher along with prices that would rise, given the physical limits that exist to meeting demand for physical delivery... with something real.
