remember that I said it was important to watch corporate earnings in Q1'12 to see if they missed or made it, as an indicator as to where our economy was headed?

Well, here's the first indicator on that point. Corporate forecasts are coming down fast. Of the 132 companies in the S&P500 that gave guidance for the future, here's the breakdown on whether it was lower guidance (Neg), higher (Pos), or same (In-Line):
Total = 132
Negative = 96
Positive = 27
In-Line = 9
