Bob: I'll give a quickie overview report now, then compile the answers to the SI posters' questions later.

It started out as a typical stockholders' meeting, with the standard required formalities about proxies, etc. That took about 10 minutes, then Ron Bishop opened the "post-meeting" meeting with a list of answers to questions he thought people would be asking.

There were about 20 people observing the activities. At least 3 of them were CSGI employees, and possibly as many as 6 or 7. CSGI's legal counsel was there with another person. I couldn't tell how many analysts attended, because there were no name tags and no introductions.

I compiled a list of questions from those who posted on this thread, some who emailed me, and some of my own (primarily techie type questions). Because some of those questions were antagonistic in nature, I didn't ask them during the meeting. However, I did hand Ron Bishop a diskette with the questions on it and asked him to email me his responses. He said they would do that.

There was no access to the tool there, so I asked after the meeting if it would be possible for me to see a "before & after" image of some source code. I've been invited to their office for a full blown demo sometime after Thanksgiving. I'll delay providing my thoughts on the technical side of this until after I've seen the demo.

I've saved the best for last .... the refreshments were mediocre. They had coffee and iced tea, but no soft drinks. Sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies. Some fresh fruit slices that I don't think anybody touched. That was about it. No cold cuts, no finger sandwiches, no ice cream bars ... geez ....

Over all, I'd say it was a pretty mediocre meeting. No earth shattering announcements, either good or bad. I'll document some of the issues that were brought up by management and visitors later today.
