I like silver a lot as a play... which doesn't make me want to ignore the issue specific charts, or what others in the market are capable of doing to influence the market and my trades... For now, I'm limiting my mining stock holdings to juniors with "special situations" on tap, and to those I trade that have "pinch charts" which I can expect will mean that I'll get a nice technical bounce, at least, from the pinch resolving... in a short term trade. SLV was pinching last week... in a smaller way, nothing dramatic, and it would have been a buy at the chart indicated lows, but, mostly for the technical bounce in a short term trade...
