My in-laws are fundamentalists; therefore, I presume in their eyes an atheist is only a non-believer because it's God's will. In other words, I'm sure they don't hold it against you, rather, you are simply not believing as part of God's Master Plan. Why they worry about it is beyond me -- they are challenging God's will!

My niece had a "Bible logic" class -- I said, "Did you say Bible logic??" Uh huh, she said. When I asked more about it, it was apparent that it was simply a class to give them "logic" arguments to swat away any actual logic challenge, such as how did Noah build an ark that could all those animals, etc.

Kind of like the Bible thumpers that used to come to my door and say, "You believe in thermodynamics, right? So how could people evolve, thus violating the 2nd law (increasing entropy)?

Hello, doofus, don't you see that hot orb in the sky raining down sunshine and a quadrillion joules of energy every hundredth of a second? That's how!
