"Our tax system is the root of crony capitalism..............Take away businesses ability to bribe congress for tax breaks\incentives and special rules and waivers and you've effectively killed crony capitalism.......... It would be naive to think that any Congress or any President would ever act to take away business' ability to "bribe Congress for tax breaks/incentives and special rules and waivers". Those "bribes" are what pay the bills for re-election campaigns. Without the ability to "sell" their vote in return for favors in the tax code their job security would be severely diminished. It's good to be in elected office at the Federal level!! Don't ever look for the tax code to become *less* complex ..... no matter which party is put in power. Pat
