well we can never know for sure how a president will actually perform.....but bush certainly put hints out there about his 'compassionate conservatism' read: gov't spending was in his mind....of course 9/11 pushed him over the top and the rest is history....romney could repeat the same mistakes, but surely he would not be as bad as obama
